Notice of Water Service Fee Price Increase effective January 2022

We will be imposing a rate increase effective with the January 2022 bill. The monthly flat fee will increase by 15% as follows:

TYPE NEW RATE
Pasture / Livestock $11.50
5/8" Residential $34.50
1" Commercial $57.50
1.5" Commercial $86.25
2" Commercial $115.00

These increases are required due to inflationary impacts on operational costs as well as debt incurred for the construction of a new water tower southwest of Mound City. A separate project, the expansion of waterline around Sugar Valley Lake, will also be under construction in 2022. That project is funded by the new customers being added.

This is the first rate increase that the District has had since April 2016.
